Are raw crystals better than polished crystals?

"Are untreated stones stronger than energy-polished ones and which ones should I use?" This is probably one of the first questions you ask yourself before buying a crystal.

What is so special about raw crystals?

The truth is that the raw crystal has purer energy than the polished one, as it has passed through far fewer hands before reaching you. It bears the shape that the earth has given it and preserves its beauty. Raw stones can be druses, spikes, and all sorts of interesting shapes. Many types of crystals must remain in their natural forms, such as sugar quartz, whose beauty is precisely the small spikes, which resemble sugar crystals or freshly fallen snow. They are suitable for home decoration or for energy generators in a yoga studio. The most common natural form in nature is that of thorns. They offer deep healing and are a great tool for energetic work.

There are also many cases where polished stones are a much better choice.

Energy workers like to use both polished and raw crystals for use on altars or for spiritual practices.

Something that many people find a great advantage with polished stones is that they are easier to carry in the pockets of clothes or backpacks, they are more comfortable to put under a pillow or in its pillowcase, and most of all they do not scratch or injure the skin when are worn as an accessory.

In the healing practice of laying crystals on your body and chakras in order to balance the energy centers, polished crystals are much more suitable. They are stable and do not fall around so easily, which does not interrupt the process. This way you can concentrate to the maximum.

During meditation, they are better grasped by the hand, and their smooth surface is great to the touch.

If you are making an elixir or water, energized with stones, it would be more appropriate to use polished stone, as some crystals are very brittle and soft in their pure form and that would cause them to dissolve.

Also, some minerals contain toxic elements that are not safe for touching, while the polished form creates an additional layer of security that allows a person to safely hold such stones.

Such an example is the Tiger's eye. In its raw form, the Tiger's Eye may contain asbestos. The polished coating adds a layer or barrier between physical contact with the mineral.

The polishing process allows the creation of unique and very attractive shapes that would not otherwise be found in nature. This also makes it easier to work with a certain type of vibration and the manifestation of intentions.

The polished ones have lighter energy that moves around in clear directions, following the lines of the shape in which they are formed. This focused energy makes them great for rituals, breaking bad relationships, and anything that requires a precise and focused flow of energy.

Each crystal form is a good one - follow your heart when picking your crystals. Whichever of the two main forms you focus on, both contain the transforming energy of the Earth and work.
